Martin

Lewis

We all know that Pigs Can't Fly but here is living proof that Pugs Can Swim.  "Martin" (nicely attired in red) and "Lewis" (looking absolutely dashing in blue) stopped by Paws to Swim to show off their aquatic prowess.  The two had mom (Kristen) and staff (Dave, Debbie and Janis) fully entertained. Martin had a neat gallop (surely from his time in westerns) and Lewis was quite the comedian

This is Jackson a Dogue de Bordeaux (a/k/a French Mastiff - remember Turner & Hooch?).
Jackson is swimming to help with his elbow dysplasia.  His mom Marcie and Aunt Lauren brought him to Paws to Swim.  His dad Sean wanted to come but he is a Marine serving our country in Iraq.  Lauren was the swim photographer and will be sending pictures and video to a Proud Marine stationed overseas.  Oh and Sean, if you read this, Marcie sends her love ............

Linders with his lady friend Chelsea.

Chelsea, a rambunctious Chesapeake Bay Retriever, is a regular at Paws To Swim.  She comes every Thursday after her day at Canine-to-Five one of the local Doggy Day Care facilities.  Her mom Gayle sometimes gets a sore shoulder from tossing toys for Chelsea to retrieve.  Chelsea also comes by and helps out whenever there is a doggone good party at Paws To Swim.  She has taught future Seeing Eye
Dogs  and Canine Companions for Independence the best  ways to romp and play at Paws To Swim.

Hi I am Walter and am a 1 year old purebred Rottie.  My mom Susan has me doing this really hard thing called obedience.  (I mean it's really really hard).  I love coming to Paws To Swim so much that I will do anything to get into the pool.  I sit, I heel, and (this is the hardest thing), I even wait.  They say pretty soon, I will even be raking  leaves, cleaning gutters and washing windows.

JUST LET ME SWIM!!!

This is a picture of "Sandy" Glaze.  Sandy is recovering from FHO (hip) surgery and is our diving specialist. She sticks her head underwater and  holds her breath for about 15 seconds!!!  Her underwater escapades keep Mom (Diane) and Grandma (Ann)
laughing during her entire swim.

Maizy is a 5 year old Bull Mastiff who is swimming to help lose weight and to help with her hip dysplasia.
